Probuild Civil (QLD) Pty Ltd has traditionally made its core business the construction of roads and bridges that have needed a high degree of technical skill with stringent quality requirements, which have thus suited the mix of the Company’s employees.

In recent years, through associations with reliable plant hire companies, owner operators and bulk earthworks subcontractors, the Company has won and successfully completed a number of projects of varying sizes, that have had high quality requirements but more especially high production outputs necessary.

SURCHARGE - PORT OF BRISBANE

Year Completed: Due for completion in 2010
Location: Port of Brisbane (South East Queensland)
Description: Relocation of 1.5 million cubic meters of white sand and rocky fill and the construction of 3km of 5m deep partially rock filled drains.
Project Value: $5.9 million

QBH STOCKPILE EXTENSION - STAGE 2

Client: Port of Brisbane Corporation
Year Completed: 2009
Location: Port of Brisbane (South East Queensland)
Description: Extension of an existing stockpile to receive coal, including drainage and the importation and placement of approximately 65,000 m3 of fill material
Project Value: $2.4 million

QBH STOCKPILE EXTENSION - STAGE 2

JOINT LEVEE ROAD EMBANKMENT

Client: Department of Main Roads
Year Completed: 2008
Location: Mackay (Central Queensland)
Description: Construction of an embankment through a cleared mangrove swamp that included 45,000 m3 of drainage and armour rock and 110,000 m3 of graded fill. All the material was quarried and processed by the construction team.
Project Value: $7.4 million

Year Completed: 2009
Location: Port of Brisbane (South East Queensland)
Description: Extension of an existing stockpile platform to receive coal, including the construction of sediment basins, inlet and outlet structures and the placement and compaction of 164,000 m3 of fill material.
Project Value: $1.7 million

Location: Port of Brisbane (South East Queensland)
Description: A contract for the fast track construction of a 41,500 m2 temporary container storage yard, including filling with white sand and a road base hardstand pavement.
Project Value: $1.6 million

Description: Development of the Colmslie Estate through the installation of drainage and the relocation of approximately 140,000 m3 of surcharge and structural fill material over different areas of the site over a two year period.
