Probuild Civil (QLD) Pty Ltd has constructed a number of complex and impressive bridges since it was founded in 1984, as Chevron Construction Company (Pty) Ltd T/a Basic Construction Services.

The size, complexity and type of bridge undertaken varies from structural steel pedestrian bridges to single span concrete bridges, right up to multi span concrete bridges built over tidal creeks and rivers.

Most bridge construction projects involve road work and earthworks and Probuild Civil is able to undertake extensive road work and earthworks as part of the bridge project.

The Company currently enjoys a R4B3F50 prequalification level with the Department of Transport and Main Roads in Queensland, enabling it to tender on high value, technically difficult Road and Bridge projects. Design and Construct projects can also be undertaken and the Company has been involved with two such projects for Stockland on the Sunshine Coast over the past few years.

We have experienced bridge building teams and very reliable and competent subcontractors who have together built bridges of which we are justifiably proud, from the Gold Coast in South East Queensland to Mackay in Central Queensland.

HOSPITAL BRIDGE Client: Department of Main Roads Year Completed: 2009 Location: Mackay (Central Queensland) Description: Extensive road work, a single span concrete bridge and a twenty two span concrete bridge over the tidal Pioneer River.
