The CCF Earth Awards for Excellence in Civil Construction

CCF AwardIn June 2009, Probuild Civil (QLD) Pty Ltd, together with the Northshore Group, a subsidiary of the Port of Brisbane Corporation, was nominated as a finalist in the prestigious 2009 Queensland CCF Earth Awards for Excellence in Civil Construction.

The Civil Contractors Federation (CCF) Earth Awards are recognition of the premier civil infrastructure construction projects that are executed in Australia each year.
Probuild Civil (QLD) Pty Ltd was nominated as a finalist in the $5 million to $20 million project category for the Northshore Riverside Park project in Hamilton, Brisbane that was completed in June 2008.

This nomination follows on from the Company being nominated as a finalist in the 2008 Queensland CCF awards for its outstanding achievements on the Wynnum Road Upgrade project, which was the critical “early works” package that was the lead-in to the billion dollar Gateway Upgrade Project. This project was completed on time, on budget and with a high degree of partnering and innovation with our client, Queensland Motorways.

The Northshore Riverside Park Project on the banks of the Brisbane River, demonstrated excellence in the recycling and reuse of materials on site, the protection of fauna and flora, the implementation of strict and effective environmental management controls adjacent to the Brisbane River and nearby tributary creek and in innovation for implementing cost and time savings for the client.
